Waynesville Hollers Announce Bradley Pace as New General Manager
Waynesville, NC —The Waynesville Hollers are proud to announce Bradley Pace as the team’s new General Manager. A Haywood County native and Pisgah High School graduate, Pace brings a deep connection to the community, extensive baseball experience, and a passion for growing the game at every level.
“I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to be part of the Waynesville Hollers and help build something special for this community, both on and off the field,” Pace said. “What excites me most about this role is the chance to continue growing the game of baseball here in Haywood County. We have a rich tradition of developing players who go on to compete at the next level, and now those players get to come home and play in front of the same community that supported them along the way.”
Pace’s background in education and baseball coaching is extensive. After earning a degree in Middle Grades Education from UNC Wilmington, he spent nine years teaching high school math at West Henderson and Pisgah High Schools. During that time, he also coached baseball across Western North Carolina for 13 years, including stints at West Henderson, Pisgah, Tuscola, and two summers with the Hendersonville Honeycrisps. In 2022, Pace transitioned into real estate full-time and currently serves with Keller Williams Professionals and the Altamont Property Group in Asheville.
Family is central to Pace’s life. He and his wife, Ashley, are raising two children, Isley (8) and Grady (6), who Pace calls his driving force and greatest support system.
Community involvement is at the heart of Pace’s vision for the Hollers. “The success of this team will be driven by the support and engagement of our community,” he said. “We’re incredibly blessed to be in Haywood County, a close-knit community that consistently shows up and supports local athletes, and that kind of backing will be the foundation of what we’re building.”
Pace is also focused on creating a game day experience that goes beyond baseball. “We want each game to be a place where families can enjoy a summer night, make great memories, and feel connected to the team and the community,” he said.
When asked about his influences, Pace noted the impact of his parents and early coaches. “My parents made countless sacrifices to help me pursue baseball, from late-night practice sessions to building a full-size infield on our property. My first travel ball coach, Jason McCauley, taught me about passion, knowledge, and building relationships in the game, lessons that have stayed with me ever since.”
The Waynesville Hollers are excited to welcome Bradley Pace as they prepare for a competitive and community-driven summer this season.
